I mean, it's like the UK inviting in muslims and promoting lgbt pride events. The thought that it might create conflict simply gets pushed out and ignored to not seem bigoted against either group. A manufactured morality supercedes logical thought in those cases. Maybe morality always ranks higher than reason.
