California Passes Law Banning ICE Officers From Wearing Masks
The bill, SB-627, bans any law enforcement officer from wearing a "facial covering that conceals their facial identity in the performance of their duties," with exceptions for motorcycle helmets, SWAT officers, & N-95 masks
The bill may be unconstitutional - a 2012 Supreme Court ruling said states can't regulate federal immigration law enforcement. But the word "immigration" doesn't appear in the bill.
