My toot probably won't impress proponents of Israel's actions (I've been called an antisemite before).
However, IMO it doesn't help either if both opposing groups only share opinions in their own social bubble.
I like to discuss things, because I *know* that I don't know everything. Nowadays too much infornation is based on lies, and it's really hard to determine whether info is based on facts or not. Everyone is welcome to prove me wrong; I have changed my mind before.
Tomorrow, in the Netherlands (at 20:00 +0200) there's a 2 minute country wide silence to remember people killed in WW2 and in later wars. There is quite some controversy about this, in particular because the extreme pro-Israel stance of the Dutch goverment (while the IJC is located in the same city The Hague).
The propaganda in my country and the abuse of the word antisemitism scare me way more than one individual that I reply to.
