I’ll get back on my usual soapbox:
- building local - regional storage would technically allow renewables to run at 100% as they fill the buffer up
- it would also financially allow renewables generators to supply power to regional consumers, cutting out the current expensive market-bidding system and allowing user costs to be far lower than anything with gas bids in the system.
