In a Zoom call yesterday between Congressman, financial regulators, and other government people, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) asked representatives from the Federal Reserve and Treasury Dept. if there were ways to censor people on social media who might "post information that would lead to a run on banks".
#1: Fucking incredible that anyone would still want censorship, especially over something like that.
#2: What "information" would they even classify as "causing a run on the banks". How would they monitor that?
