We were talking about how to bring more creativity into this space.
✨ I'm going to be on the BFTA podcast in a few weeks talking about my artist journey. A few things on my mind:
- What constitutes success online? In this era of bots and copycat accounts, it's not # of followers. The success metric has to be *real life* collaborations and mutual support.
- Why create content? I think we can only see ourselves through the mirror of our own creations. The goal is not to preach to others or sell anything, but rather to create an immaculate reflection of yourself, in order to know yourself.
- The hardest one: what to share and what not to share? What is dignified in privacy and what is exalted in being shared? I honestly don't know.
- One thing I know for sure is that I have never and will never use AI to write my copy (or music.) Call me a granny but I believe in quality.
I'm ending a year long social media hiatus which involved deleting all my big tech accounts. Being visible (or not) is one of the big questions of my life but I'm ready to give it a try once more, without performance.
