In my case, I was a professional student for over ten years, never quite able to pull enough money together to finish, even getting as far as taking and doing _very_ well on my general and Physics GREs, and then getting a _ton_ of information from UC Santa Barbara for their Particle Physics program… but I just ran out of money and energy, got my first Real Job, and then… well… got my ex pregnant by accident after dating her for only four months.
It became a game of Keeping the Lights On™ for fifteen years until I just could not tolerate an abusive relationship and being in the closet any longer in 2013.
After moving to San Francisco and winding up basically failing at two companies and then watching the tech market become a complete dumpster fire, I have absolutely no idea what to do with my life at 58.
Going back to school for CS would _only_ be for personal reasons not in order to suddenly seen relevant. So… I dunno…
