Pixel 6 or later is needed for current GrapheneOS. Hardware memory tagging is one of the big features and that's Pixel 8 or later. It seems hard to justify us buying a device for someone to review it.
Recommend looking at https://eylenburg.github.io/android_comparison.htm as a third party comparison between Android-based distributions with a focus on privacy. Essentially everything is marketed as private now simply based on not having Google Play, but there's a lot more to privacy than that.
