i do have an even deeper appreciation of the amount of work it takes to make sure a tech feature is planned from beginning to end now. you gotta scope it so you don't have any surprises. you gotta set a timeline so you have an end-goal to aim for. you gotta break up the tasks so any parallelizable parts can be picked up by multiple people. you gotta link dependencies so everyone knows which tasks can be picked up and which ones are dependent on others.
