I don’t mean to ride the moral high horse, but we often have the option to choose between something selfish and something kind. Selfishness, admittedly, comes naturally to us. It's a core human instinct to prioritize self-preservation. However, we are no longer in the Stone Age or the hunter-gatherer era. For the most part, we are 'safe' in choosing options that benefit others. Kindness can be a viable choice, even though it may not be the easiest or most instinctual one. Choose kindness.
