In Nottingham the Council has banned balaclavas & other 'illegitimate' face coverings in response to the masked 'protests' on the South coast; a move we might hope will be repeated across the country.
One slight problem may be the discretion on deciding what is & isn't legitimate face covering being given to the Police; this is unavoidable & reflects current police powers, but how will the police in Nottingham (and elsewhere) use this discretion?
