Constellation Energy Corp. will invest $1.6 billion to revive the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania, agreeing to sell all output to Microsoft Corp. for carbon-free electricity. The plant, which was shut down in 2019, is expected to go back into service in 2028. Microsoft has agreed to purchase the energy for two decades and will use it to power its data centers, which are expected to run on clean energy by 2025.
