I think there's this unspoken idea that black people do not exist here, or that we would not find the concept of the #fediverse to be appealing. This is inherently just- wrong.
There's very much a whiteness problem here. A lot of purity culture in leftist politics. Like damn- y'all actually do not know how to get a lil nasty while still remaining civil. And it shows tbh.
