Yesterday at work I added some sand onto the top of the beetle bump (like a beetle bank but smaller) in case any passing ground nesting bees are looking for a new nest location.
The hibernaculum has signs of being used by small furry critters, and some of the crocus I planted survived the mice/squirrel attentions.
Small positive actions.
