first they came for the AI slop, and i said nothing, because they were absolutely right. then they came for the human slop, and -- due to the fact that the aforementioned research paper by smith (1999) soundly demonstrated that i myself had not in fact stood up for (and in doing so defended the rights of) the large number of AI sloppers who had been come for prior by that same group that now came for me as further described in said paper -- the number of those who were prepared, willing, and motivated to stand up for me had dwindled to zero.
