I was a surprised at what relief I felt upon leaving work this morning and knowing I don't have to go back for a week and a half. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this holiday season, since we are not able to make our usual trek to see our distant friends & relatives; we're all alone here at home. Normally this time of year is for reforging connections with those folks. I think this year will actually turn out to be chill. I'm looking forward to reading and boardgames.
