Once every decade or more I get a flu that floors me to the point of bed rest for one month. There's no prevention or cure that is reliable. You need to drink and stay in bed. But with work and other commitments, its impossible. So these flu episodes lasted 6-8 weeks of sheer terror and pain partially due to having no cure and inability to stay in bed due to work. All except once, I ended with more permanent fatigue. If you want to compare #covid to the flu, compare it the right way.
