Those figures you reference are alienist “liberals” that incoherently treat almost every moral right as a property right. There are many criticisms of them. The most basic of which are the modern liberal inalienable rights critiques of capitalism. Of course, it bears a relationship to actually existing liberals because they appeal to the same moral principles that imply anti-capitalism while incoherently defending capitalism.
