What you see is normally beach.\n\nA combination of overnight sculpting of the sand, strong wind and high tide brought about an unexpected and rapid inundation.\n\nI spent the afternoon on a sand dune, cut off by swirling flood waters.\n\nHigh tide came and went at just the right time. Scary.
