An amazing victory for campaigners in their court case to stop Rosebank oil field being developed: the U.K. government has decided not to defend the case.

The oil fields emissions were not considered in the environmental impact when the license was given (?!?!) so they’ll have to submit another showing astronomical emissions of the scope 3 emissions of the oil/gas being burned.
