I guess dimensionally it *might* be able to fit - just barely, less than 6 inches to spare either side - with specialized low-profile cradle/supporting structures. But while the LM was built to withstand the longitudinal G-forces of launch I’m not sure it could handle the up to 3G force of shuttle re-entry on different axes. And they’d have to completely empty/inert any remaining hypergolic propellants from the fuel & oxidizer tanks to make it safe to carry.
