Bluesky has been shaken up by the joining of somebody who half the people strongly feel should be banned and half the people strongly rally behind. A kind of wedge-user.
Without discussing the specifics, I wonder if the #fediverse is more resilient to this. If a wedge-user joined a large instance, and they were banned (which would prob happen in this specific case), they would then move to an instance that would take them.
Would this cause a split into effectively two fediverses?
