being a dad in an #FLR has been an interesting shift in how i view fatherhood.
instead of presiding *over* the family as "man of the house," the way i love and support is more like a reliable foundation for them. and it also means i've been much more involved and present in the everyday moments of the little one's life than what was expected of previous generations.
though i'm not sure if this is an effect of the FLR dynamic, a response from my own experiences, or just the cultural trend at the moment...
