In 90ties and early 00 we had a lot of white matches in Poland , also a lot of matches in winter in european cups were in snow.
And for here i cant understand why there were no plowed areas near lines, Also red ball were used.
Now with all that XXI century inventions: mixed (plastic and natural) grass, heated pitches, all that stuff that is covering all the grass between matches... we have green pitches all year long and its ... so boring
