I love finding those too. The first time I saw one I was startled. A snake with legs, what is this thing? Came across one last week while I was cleaning the greenhouse and moving pots. That and lots of red millipedes that were guarding egg clusters. From what I read, salamanders find millipedes pretty tasty, so probably why I found them together.
