I like the tenacity, seems like their third attempt at this :) I should enjoy that they are using Iroh and Mainline... But I honestly prefer the client-server architecture. Just tell me where the data should be stored and read from, I am ok if the server is contacted through Iroh instead of HTTP, but don't ask me to gossip just to get a reply to my text! Come on. Realtime VoIP and P2P presence reports make sense, but anything that is meant to be read while I am possibly or probably offline should be ready from a server, again even if the server is self hosted and an Oroh endpoint, but it must be an endpoint not a vague concept of gossip. Leave gossip for syncing popular data structures, a Blockchain, a Movie, an Archive, or a PKI. Cat pics remain on servers please.
