But first a sanity check. Does the #ThunderScan even work? Let’s try it out on my Mac Classic II.

There’s a menagerie of adapters and plug types supporting the Mac 512 vs =>SE and ImageWriter I vs II (the serial ports changed).

In this case I need to use the provided floppy pass through that steals +5v and +12v power. It also connects to the 8 pin mini DIN serial.

Then it goes into the “adapter box” which connects to both the scan unit and the printer.
