I agree 1000%. Throwing his slimey ass in jail would have been the perfect thing to do to demonstrate to the cult that he is not worthy of their foolishness. A perp walk was exactly what we needed.
But sadly, as I was reminded yesterday, that would not have prevented him from running and/or being president. He'd probably have still won anyway, considering how stupid we are in this country.
