Hibiscuses in bloom at my place, 2 of which are edible:

1) bele (abelmoschus manihot, also known as Tongan spinach): big, green leaves that can be cooked. Learn more: https://plantpono.org/bele/

2) cranberry hibiscus (hibiscus acetosella): edible leaves which can also be used in tea. The leaves are the same color as the flowers.

3) hibiscus x rosa-sinensis: common hibiscus, it blooms regularly and makes me happy 😊

4) hau (hibiscus tiliaceus, also known as sea hibiscus): a coastline tree that's salt- and wind-tolerant. Young flowers are yellow, and over the course of a day, they turn pink, until they're maroon when they fall. Pic below shows a young flower next to a fallen one.
