I dunno, there's been a shitload of games remakes and new entries in the past year releasing and being announced that's being released by 3rd party partners, so it feels obvious that there's been a lot of internal team at Nintendo that was hard at work for the next game
It seems like production actually started on the thing, which means 30~ days until assembly, which means Chinese worker leaks, so unless we got something massively wrong and the stuff around it are multiplying badly, then it's just about to happen. Announcement soon, release probably around March
The big question is if we're going to get another shadowdrop with nothing until some time (I don't remember when the Switch was properly introduced) or are we getting a proper Direct with at least the major launch game being shown
