We're in the middle of a geomagnetic excursion. The magnetic poles will meet in the Indian Ocean, the crust will unlock from the mantle and inertia will drive the heaviest parts of the crust (the ice capped regions) towards the equator bringing about a Great Flood and the dawn of a new age.
