Egge's cocod is definitely a great option. I've been using it with my agents too, and seems to be pretty flawless.
Were you asking your agent to use cashu-ts directly, not via any app scaffolding? If so, I wonder if the new migration "skill" is what sent your agent into a loop trying to migrate an app that wasn't there?
Be good to know what the stumbling block for your agent was.
