Also I will remind you that the companies manufacturing tetraethyl lead *knew* it was horribly neurotoxic for a variety of reasons, including the fact that their own employees were getting disabled or killed, and they just kept on producing it *without changing any manufacturing processes* until forced.
Just in case you were wondering if maybe companies have learned to be even minimally careful about... anything, really.
