that's really awesome of you. I wasn't always able to afford text books. Even used old editions were prohibitively expensive or not an option sometimes, especially if the class required question # 3 from page 213 to be turned in as homework.
The best "text book" was from a professor who had his noted notes printed and embedded with follow along problem solving into the "book" so we could work on it as part of the lecture. It was a thick three hole punched packet we could buy from the University print services for $10.  Learned so much in that class because the professor was student and learning focused.
