that's what i've been romanticizing lately. it's a calming experience. i don't have the hardware or software support that i might have in linux but my inner neckbeard is scratched. (fact: i've never had a neckbeard)

python is pretty decent. you hear people complaining about it, but mostly people who don't now how to write it or how to setup a dev env. ruby is where i got my start in 2009 with dynamic typed language, then python, now it's just go mostly. but i still fall back to ruby and python for rapid prototyping/idea-spikes.
