It would surely reduce the push for competition and the burden on the donors, yes. And it may probably better for the verified accounts too, who then don’t have to shout louder in order to get funding. If say every small family group needs $100/day to cover their basic needs then each donor could give $33/day (a perfectly reasonable sum), and that sum would only go to that family - as of now I’m spreading $10-15/day donations across >10 families instead, which I’m not sure if it’s as impactful.

But a hybrid approach may probably still be valuable - the 3-donor-per-account approach could provide the baseline for each of those families to cover their basic needs, while still keeping the emergency funding as a backup for, well, emergencies, and also individual campaigns for anything on top of the basic survival needs.

I see the potential here, but also some potential challenges - thoughts?
