Everybody is thinking RAM prices are rising because AI is buying all the stock to put in datacenters and I'm sitting just here thinking "didn't these guys just borrow money credits a few months ago using fake overestimated future prices of 2 year old used GPUs as collateral? Could it be that they are not even buying that many chips because they need them, but to raise used hardware prices and prevent their entire financial smoke and mirrors from collapsing for a few months more?"
