Took a break from camper food for dinner tonight and ate in-town in Moab. Group of red hat types at the next table on the patio were very vocal when the lady who brought out their waters didn’t speak English.
So I had to talk to her equally loudly in Spanish. She’s from Sinaloa, and used to own a restaurant there. We talked about how fresh all the food was there. Waving her hand at our chicken wings, she said, (in Sp) “Those were frozen. Who knows where they’re from or how old they are.”
