Back in March of 2024, news broke by @libsoftiktok that Planet Fitness not only allowed men in women’s bathroom’s and changing rooms, but they stand by that policy, nearly quadrupling down on it to the point they lost over $400M+ of their market cap.
Today, it was revealed that an identical situation occurred at a Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles, where a woman saw a man in the women’s changing room and after repeatedly telling him to leave, he refused, arguing with and even fighting back and what did @GoldsGym do about it? They immediately cancelled that woman’s membership and called the police to escort her out of the building!
I am LIVID right now because I cancelled my membership at Planet Fitness over this and just now decided to cancel my Gold’s membership as I REFUSE to support ANY business that will jeopardize the safety and privacy of any woman or child.
So, I am calling on my fellow ladies and the men who support and back us to show Gold’s the same financial pain and suffering that we gave to Planet Fitness over their stance and ridiculous policy of allowing biological males in female only spaces.
Enough is enough, we deserve to feel safe as well. Stand with us and boycott Gold’s Gym!
