You may ask... what's the point of bothering and going through all the hell and pain of designing a new programming language? Have you lost your mind? Aren't there too many of them already? <li><p>There aren't too many of this one. In fact there is none.</p></li><li><p>The journey is the reward, the learning, the interaction of ideas, the dialogical interfacing of old and new, what was and what will be. That's, in essence, creation. And that's, in essence, growth. I choose creativity, and I choose growth.</p></li><li><p>Infusing new life into old platforms, and elevating existing ones that are not primarily promoted for ulterior reasons by big business. What works for human needs and what makes sense to humans is sometimes –and increasingly often so– not aligned with big business needs. And this is probably an understatement.</p></li>

There are probably many more reasons, but I think these three should suffice to give the idea a good thought.
