Once I was cooking bacon and the pan warped. I pulled it out of the oven and the grease spilled on my hand. I wiped it away, taking skin with it.

A few weeks later I was picking up Hasenpfeffer( or Has) but didn’t secure his hind legs. He kicked out scratching me right across the new skin that was growing back.

I got two nearly parallel, three inch long, bleeding scratches!
