Shouldn't be the case. Not if you work on your form, mobility, stabilizers, and warm up well.

All that volume might help you lose weight but you're not going to build muscle. You'll just get very dense and strong.

If you like calisthenics better, you should set up some bars (if you have space), and get gymnastic rings, which you don't need space for. Hang them from a tree.
