AFIK there's not smoking gun that the US knew the Pearl Harbor attack was coming, but they did know the Japanese were preparing an attack & sent the USN Carriers out to sea. They had also been provoking Japan over petroleum. The incitement, lack of defense and British influence are undeniable.
