I have Sway set up so Alt+Enter creates a new terminal window, if that's what you mean? Being a tiling wm, it of course resizes the window appropriately. On occassion I use KDE, where I rebound it to Alt+Enter as well, and I usually use Meta+arrow keys to have it take up one half or quarter of the screen.
