Many, many years ago, I bought this iMac.
Dropped a ridiculous amount of money on it too—because hey, why not “future-proof” my life?

It’s got 32GB of RAM
A small supercomputer.
And yet Apple took one look at it and said,
“Adorable. Anyway, we don’t support that fossil anymore.”

Pretty soon I couldn’t even run GarageBand or Pages.
Because, you know… innovation.

So I rolled up my sleeves, installed Debian,
and—surprise!—the hardware runs perfectly fine.
