In fact, I've made the same net after-taxes-and-benefits pay now in 2024 as I was in 2011 in my first internship straight out of college. It hasn't gone up in 13 years because the taxes and price of the benefits has gone up directly proportional to the pay increases as I've hopped from job to job.
