Sometimes I have a conversation in my head, which leads to a question for my wife, which as far as she's concerned has come out of nowhere.
This morning I was thinking about music, which led me to the 1997 single 'Did It Again' by Kylie Minogue. In Finland she’s known as 'Kylie-täti' (auntie Kylie).
I asked my wife why there's only one word for 'aunt' in Finnish, when the word for 'uncle' depends on whether they're your mother's or father's brother.
Made sense to me. 🤷
