Insanity!
This is what I'm doing for mom with Alzheimer's. They no longer offer the PPO she was on in our rural area (thanks communists!) They just canceled it...so I had to choose an HMO for her and change all her doctors. It will be cheaper to pay cash to keep her regular doctor when we need to see her vs. the premiums and increase of over $330 a month for "supplemental" insurance.
We are financially supporting her basically. She has nothing.
