I joined a Facebook group for a specific lawn mower brand that was so obscure it required a quiz to get in. Once in, I ask if anyone has rewired their mower would help me do a rewiring upgrade and that I'd pay.
Instant DM from a guy who has done them before in my area, wants $500. I ask a couple specific technical questions and he gets weird, so I tell him thanks, but no thanks.
A day later he starts DMing again and that's when Facebook finally reveals he's in Nigeria and it's probably a scam.
