Seems more like he's doing a covert attack on China to me. First Venezuela, now Iran.
Unlike other presidents who just attacked for their own gain, Venezuela's former president told Trump to "come get me if you can", and the people celebrated when he did, and Trump told the Iranians that he'd support them, if they started, which they did.
Israel wasn't responsible for the Iranians protesting. That was them wanting their country back.
Sure, it benefits Israel a lot too, but I think it's bigger than that.
